This rate is 65 percent in Latin America and the Caribbean, 57 percent in Central Asia and South Asia and 24 percent in Sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;basic&#8221; level of water is 34 percent in Sub-Saharan Africa, 31 percent in Central Asia and South Asia, 31 percent in Latin America and the Caribbean, 5 percent in North America and Europe.
